Community Liaison & Achievements
Friends of Wasaga:

Friends of Wasaga
I founded Friends of Wasaga nearly eight years ago with a simple but meaningful goal: to bring residents together and foster genuine, lasting friendships within our community. Through organized meet-and-greets and a variety of social gatherings, I create welcoming opportunities for people to connect and feel a true sense of belonging.
I host a range of events, including coffee meetups, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, and three annual dinner-and-dance celebrations. Each gathering is designed to be inclusive, engaging, and accessible even for seniors—because no one should feel lonely or isolated.
Friends of Wasaga is a welcoming place where everyone has a seat at the table. It also offers newcomers a warm introduction to the community, helping them feel welcomed and connected from the start. This initiative is my way of giving back and contributing to a more caring, inclusive, and connected town.
